Uganda Coffee beans Chinoni Kinone washing Plant
The Kinone washing plant is operated by the Bukonzo Organic Farmers' Cooperative (Bukonzo Organic Farmers Co-operative). Buconzo was founded in 2009 and the raw beans come from 36 miniature washing plants in the mountains of Rwenzori. Mount Ruwenzori has fertile soil and is famous for producing amazing coffee, and this Chinoni is no exception.
Chinoni is located in the north of Lake George (Lake George), the town of Kasese at the foot of the Ruwenzori Mountains. With high altitude, fertile soil and abundant rainfall, Chinoni is an excellent environment for producing fine coffee. But despite the poverty of farmers, lack of infrastructure and political unrest over the past 40 years, Uganda still has the potential to produce boutique coffee, and many organizations like Buconzo are leading the development of fine coffee in Uganda.
This fully washed SL14/SL28 has floral, bright fruit aromas, mild balance, raspberry, citrus jam, lemon acidity and sugarcane sweetness.
