Mr. Evik, president of Laos Coffee Association, introduced:
Laos, with a population of 4 million, is located in the center of ASEAN and has a long history of cultivation for about 100 years. Production in 2013 is expected to be 25000 tons, including 14000 tons of Arbica and 11000 tons of rubs ta. Arbica is suitable for cultivation in the southern region. In 1992, little Arbica was planted. By expanding the planting area, the output reached 12000 tons in 2002, and has reached about 20, 000 tons in these years. 94-98% of the coffee produced in Laos is exported. Laos has a lot of land suitable for growing high-quality ecological coffee, but the current situation is a shortage of labor force and insufficient human resources. The development of coffee has become the core strategic goal of the Lao government, making consumers realize that the excellence and uniqueness of Lao coffee is also the goal of investing in coffee companies in Laos.
Foreign companies investing in Laos are: China Changshengda Company, which invests 25000 mu in Fonsari Province, with a planned planting scale of 12000 hectares (180000 mu); it is the largest coffee enterprise at present; and there are Thai companies planting about 300mu, Singapore companies about 1400 mu, and Vietnamese companies about 500,600. these companies all have their own advanced processing technology and technology, as well as advanced management system.
There are only a few small brands in Laos and some instant coffee and three-in-one coffee are imported from Thailand. The Ministry of Agriculture and the State Council of Laos have been paying close attention to the progress of coffee projects, and governments at all levels have also actively cooperated with coffee companies to invest locally.

Laos iced coffee
Laos coffee is famous all over the world, you may not believe it, but Laos does produce the best coffee in the world. Compared with some other parts of Southeast Asia, Laos did not grow coffee for a long time, and it was not introduced by the French until the early 20th century. But the unique natural environment here makes Laos coffee reveal the king atmosphere of the best coffee in Southeast Asia. Laos coffee is famous for its delicate and complex aroma and rich taste, with citrus fruit and floral aromas and vaguely chocolate sweetness. Compared with the coffee with multiple flavors in Southeast Asia, the taste is fresher and milder and longer. Coffee may be a common drink in Laos? In Luang Prabang, there were several transparent buckets filled with various colors at random at street stalls, where Lao coffee was sold! It's iced coffee! Drinking coffee may be the brand of the French colony in the last century? The standard of English and French is popular among the residents here, even the children of several years old have pure pronunciation, and many customs have continued to this day. By the way, some mixed-race offspring, mixed among Lao residents, are very handsome. Let's not go too far. When it comes to iced coffee in Laos, it's full of praise!
