This raw Panamanian coffee bean comes from Lerida Manor in Panama, which is now run by the Chiari family and is located near the city of Poquet in Panama's Chriqui province. Lerida Manor has a deep tradition of growing boutique coffee, dating back to the 1929s, when Lerida first exported coffee to Germany. Lerida Manor is careful to grow coffee to live in harmony with its natural environment-including the nearby Baru Volcano National Park (Volcano Baru National Park) and more than 550species of birds.

Introduction to the manor:

Panamanian Coffee Manor-Lerida Manor was founded in 1922 by Tollef B. Monniche, a Norwegian engineer of the Panama Canal, who used his expertise to invent the unique dry-wet integrated treatment plant at that time. He also designed and patented the "sifon" siphon coffee fruit treatment system.

Lerida Manor was bought by the Collins family in 1957 and carried forward. Located in the Baru Volcano region of Boquete, with an elevation of more than 1600 meters, special microclimate, abundant rainfall in 2000mm, sufficient temperature difference in the morning and evening, as well as volcanic soil full of nutrients, exquisite harvest time planning, rigorous monitoring of washing and fermentation and natural sun control, the coffee produced here has excellent performance in thickness and acidity.

Lerida is not only a well-known boutique manor, but also a famous ecological leisure hotel. International famous ecologists and bird experts often come to this manor for accommodation and research!
