Kenya is located in eastern Africa, the equator runs across the central part, and the East African Rift Valley runs from north to south, bordering Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania and other coffee producing areas. Kenya has a unique coffee growing environment, which is mainly distributed around the capital Nairobi and the northeast, extending to the Nyeri, Meru and Embu producing areas of the Kenyan mountains.

This batch of Wumei-flavored Kenyan coffee AA Top comes from the ruby washing plant in Nyeri. The treatment plant is about 95 kilometers north of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. It was built in 1982 and developed into a local farmers' cooperative in 2000. At present, there are 840 farmer members. The main harvest season is from September to December each year, with an average annual output of about 250000 kilograms of fresh coffee fruit. The mature fresh coffee fruit will be peeled, fermented and cleaned here, and after a natural drying process of about 14-20 days, the moisture content of raw beans with shells will reach 10-12%, which will be sent to the shelling plant for follow-up treatment.

It is worth mentioning that the Ruby Cooperative won the champion of the coffee region of Kenya in the first Taste of Harvest competition organized by the East African Fine Coffee Association in 2005, demonstrating its dedication and strength in planting and post-processing.
