Nicaragua RFA Santa Rita Javanica

Flavor description:

The dry aroma is a charming vanilla aroma peculiar to the Central American Java species, with aromas of flowers and lemon peel, as well as fresh blueberries and peaches. The entrance can still feel the fragrance of flowers and lemon peel lingering in the nose, coupled with sweet and sour juicy orange juice, smooth and round taste.

Almost all the COE competitions held every year are awarded by the estates of these three producing areas. Among them, the Segovia producing area is the most undulating and has the highest altitude among all the producing areas. Santa Teresa Manor is located in the Segovia region near the border of a small producing area called Dipilto, owned by the Joaquin Lovo family, a famous coffee family in the Dibto region. The family started with the first 1.2ha coffee farm about 50 years ago and has now developed three estates, including Santa Teresa, Bella Aurora and La Pradera.

The coffee garden mainly planted Kaddura and Huang Kaduai and adopted the environment-friendly shade cultivation. From cultivation to harvest and subsequent washing treatment, the owner's family is in the hands of others and controls all aspects of the production of excellent coffee. Therefore, since Nicaragua began to hold the COE competition, it has repeatedly won awards-a total of six awards have been won in the COE competition in the past 10 years, and the record is very outstanding!

Flavor: light tonality, sweet syrup, smell of apple and pear

Louis。 Lovo and his brother David. Ariel owns three farms with their father Joaquin Solo: La Pradera, Bella Aurora and St. Teresa. The Lovo family also runs its own dry mill, which is located in their home, just across the street from El Okotar Central Park. Three Lovo family farms in Dipilto, just a stone thrown away from the Nicaraguan northern border with Honduras. Less than 30 minutes from El Okota, Lovo Farm is very close to each other, less than a mile apart, crows fly. Considering the similarity of microclimate, processing methods and plant varieties, we have been impressed by the diversity of flavor characteristics among the three farms.

Java Java Nica is a Java breed successfully restored in Nicaragua (Ni) by Erwin, the current chief executive of the Mierishun family, and his father, Esteban Mierisch. When they were on their way to Juanetillo in Nicaragua, they passed a coffee organization: the UNICAFE's Coffee Lab. They saw a man standing by the side of the road, throwing away some old shovels and coffee seeds, so Esteban bought about 20 pounds of the seeds he was about to throw away. And take it back to ask their agronomist, the agronomist said that this is a rare variety, but because it is not resistant to disease, planting is not easy, the income is not good, and it is not popular. But this is an excellent variety and it is worth planting. So in 2008, the Mierishuo family successfully harvested about eight bags of javanica, and so far they have planted it in the family's St. Hexi Manor, Miracle Manor and Lemon Tree Manor, but now they produce about 200 bags a year. Java Nica beans are relatively slender, early Ethiopian LONGBERRY, and Tibika is related by blood, at present, few people know this variety, coffee flavor has floral, lemon, candy, a good sense of balance, is a very special and African characteristics of the variety JAVANICA.
