When my friends who have come into contact with hand-brewed coffee are tasting their own coffee beautifully, have they ever paid attention to the coffee cup they are using? If you want to make coffee taste better, you can't be careless in the choice of coffee cups! Next, I will introduce to you what kind of cup to use for coffee and how to choose a coffee cup.

Why do you need coffee cups?

Standard coffee cups are available in sets, including cups, saucers and spoons. American coffee can be served with milk and sugar on a plate, making it easy to mix according to individual taste. Some cafes also use cups and saucers to put cookies.

Ordinary glasses have the risk of cracking when they are cold and hot, so coffee cups usually need to choose materials with higher temperature tolerance, such as ceramics, in which bone porcelain has a better heat preservation effect than ordinary ceramics, which can make coffee in the cup. The temperature drops more slowly and ensures the taste to a greater extent.

From a non-X point of view, drinking coffee does not have to be a coffee cup, as long as you are not fastidious and not afraid of taste, no one cares about you to drink coffee from a soup bowl with floating oil flowers.

Choose the right coffee cup

1. The size of the coffee cup

● small coffee cup: below 100CC, mainly used for Italian concentration, such as Espresso.

● medium coffee cup: 200CC or so, the most common coffee cup, you can add your own milk and sugar.

● large coffee cup: 300CC or above, mainly used for fancy coffee with more milk foam, such as latte and mocha.

2. The material of the coffee cup

● porcelain cup: the most widely used coffee cup, white porcelain cup can better observe the color concentration of coffee. Divided into white porcelain, bone porcelain and so on, the glaze has different colors and patterns.

● ceramic cup: fired from clay, rough surface, strong texture. The disadvantage is that the rough surface is easy to hide dirt and is not conducive to cleaning.

● glass: the transparent wall can better show the layer of fancy coffee, and the double glass has better heat preservation effect. The disadvantage is that the heat resistance is not very good, so it is more used to hold iced coffee.

● plastic cup: choose the PP material with good heat resistance (the bottom of the cup is marked "5"). When an ordinary plastic cup is hot, the smell of the heated cup will not only destroy the original taste of the coffee and affect the taste, but also dilute the toxic chemicals contained in the cup into the water.

● metal cup: a cup made of metal, which usually has a good texture, but metal is a good conductor of heat. It dissipates heat too quickly for drinking coffee, and it is not easy to warm the cup. And metal elements may be dissolved in an acidic environment, so it is not safe to hold acidic drinks.

3. The rim of the coffee cup

● straight cup: the wall of the cup is vertical to the table, the coffee entrance is more concentrated, and the taste buds are directly in contact with the sweet area and the middle area, making the taste more balanced.

● wide mouth cup: the mouth of the cup is relatively large and will expand outward, which also gives the coffee better access to a wider range of taste buds, giving your tongue a complete taste of the coffee, especially the acidic flavor.

4. The thickness of the coffee cup

● thick-walled cup: it is good for heat preservation and is suitable for fancy coffee such as latte, cabbage and so on.

● thin-walled cup: it has a more delicate touch and can feel the different flavors of coffee from hot to cold. It is more suitable for individual coffee.
