Luciana Liao, a barista from InkaLab and finalist of the World barista Competition in Shanghai, demonstrated the first-class quality and different tastes of Ecuadorian coffee through a coffee hand show. Miguel Monar, a famous Ecuadorian chef with more than 20 years of international experience in the catering industry, demonstrated a new exploration of combining different ingredients with Ecuadorian coffee by making "spicy mango coffee cocktails", bringing guests this creative drink that stimulates taste buds and brings a different taste experience. Michelin-starred Chef Corrado Michelazzo, a former Michelin restaurant in Ostas, Italy, has been the executive chef of Shanghai Corso Como 10 restaurant since five years ago. Mr. Diego Vega, Deputy Consul General and Chief Commercial Officer of the Consulate General of Ecuador in Shanghai, introduced Ecuadorian export products to the guests. According to reports, Ecuador is the world's largest banana exporter, accounting for 22 percent of the world's total banana exports. it is also the world's second largest tuna exporter and the world's third largest exporter of white shrimp and flowers, accounting for 13 percent, 8 percent and 9 percent of the world's total exports, respectively. Ecuador is also the world's largest producer of high-quality aromatic cocoa beans. When it comes to coffee, Ecuador has always played an important role in the global coffee industry and is one of the few countries in the world that can export all kinds of coffee. Arabica and Robsta coffee beans are exported from Ecuador every year, including raw coffee beans, cooked coffee beans, washed coffee beans, natural coffee beans and instant coffee. The diverse geographical, ecosystem and climatic conditions in Ecuador allow different varieties of coffee to be grown in different environments. Different landforms can be found in Ecuador, including coasts, mountains, Amazon rainforests and the Galapagos Islands. For example, there are a variety of microclimates in the Andes region. The natural environment and volcanic soil produce high-quality coffee. Ecuador has a coffee planting area of 199000 hectares, including Arabica coffee beans from March to October and Robusta coffee beans from February to November. Each Ecuadorian coffee has its own unique characteristics, and the special geographical, soil and climatic characteristics can be reflected in the aroma, acidity, purity and taste of the coffee.
