This is one of my favorite beans of the year so far.

I often think of sun-cured coffee beans as a gift from nature, although sometimes not always good. But there is no doubt that this coffee bean is the best gift of the year.

The origin of the name "flower queen"

Geisha is transliterated as "Guixia" in China, but outside the mainland, the more popular name is geisha (because it sounds the same as geisha in Japanese). In Japanese culture, the top geisha is called "hanakui", this coffee bean is to be the top "geisha", the flower leader, outstanding style, this is the origin of the name "hanakui".

Not all of Hambera's sun-baked beans are called "rosettes."

Only the sun-baked coffee beans produced by Hambella's "Buku Abel" are the real flowers.

Hambella is located in GUJI, the largest coffee producing area in Ethiopia, opposite to Yejia Shefi kochore in the west, and is the highest sub-producing area in Ethiopia.

There are currently nearly 20 processing plants in Hambella, and of all the estates and processing plants, only the sun-baked coffee from Buku Abel Estate is the flower we are talking about.

"Flower Queen" Manor

Buku Abel is a small village surrounded by mountains on the African continent at an altitude of 2280 meters. December is its coffee harvest season every year. Whenever this time, the mountains are full of red ripe coffee cherry. The village is neatly arranged on the African sunbed. This is where the "flower queen" is treated.

The coffee trees in Huakui Manor are planted at an altitude of 2250 meters to 2350 meters above the mountainside. The red fructose degree picked by the coffee farmers reaches above 30 before the sun treatment begins. The humidity of the red fruits needs to be ensured for the first two days of the sun, so that they have time for full fermentation. At night, the temperature here will drop to about 12 degrees Celsius, which ensures that the red fruits will not be over-fermented.

After 18 days of sun treatment, the peel and pulp have been completely dehydrated, we can easily get the coffee beans inside, package the beans, put them in a warehouse with 12-22 degrees Celsius and humidity of 45-55%, carry out about 50 days of bean cultivation and further dehydration, and dehull and screen when the moisture content reaches about 11%, and carry out formal market sales.

In short, this is an unforgettable coffee. We once put Huakui and Blue Mountain, Rose Summer, Kona and other rare coffees together for a tasting meeting. Huakui did not lose to others at all. Even 80% of the guests present said they liked this coffee best.
