Why is the price of authentic Blue Mountain coffee expensive? how does it taste?
Jamaica Blue Mountain is one of the rarest and most expensive coffees in the world. The Blue Mountains of Jamaica are generally located between the south of Kingston and Port Antonio. At 7500 feet high, they are the highest mountains in the Caribbean.
Our current crop comes from RSW Estates, a company that gets coffee from three different farms: Sherwood Forest, Whitfield Hall and Resource Coffee Farm.
All coffee is processed at the 200-year-old Sherwood Coffee Factory.
1. Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is produced on the slopes of the mountains and is very difficult to grow. As a result, beans are carefully selected, which makes it a very labor-intensive process.

Speed is not essential. It takes time to produce high quality coffee.
3. Local women are required to manually sort each coffee bean in a 10-pound bag. The color classifier cannot fully detect minor insect damage or debris, so these ladies are the ultimate consideration of quality.
4. Each batch is first delivered by an advanced sorter and then to the factory manager.
5. The last piece of the puzzle is a barbecue. To use a bean as rare and unique as Jamaica, it must take time and bake it correctly. Our noodles are light, with a sweet creamy smooth taste. You definitely don't need to mix this coffee with milk or sugar. It's delicious in itself.
