Thousands of years of tea culture has laid a deep foundation for the agricultural development of Pu'er in Yunnan. On this basis, the elegant manor made a breakthrough, established a unique coffee manor, and used cutting-edge experimental methods to obtain the complete flavor of coffee beans. The semi-washing process, African-style drying bed controlled wet drying, and experimental hybrids that are not common in the region all converge on technologies used around the world.

It is worth mentioning that the semi-washing process was originally mainly used in the production of coffee produced in Indonesia, which requires a lot of training to master. The unique flavor is the cohesion of all the efforts-fresh herbs and rich chocolate flavors, with a malt-like tail. This cup is an outstanding representative of Yunnan coffee in the new era.

The coffee cultivated in Pu'er has a history of more than 100 years. It began to be industrialized and planted on a large scale in 1988. Now it has become the main coffee producing area with the largest planting area, the highest yield and the best quality in the country and the main distribution center of coffee trade. Strive to build "the Coffee Capital of China"

Pu'er coffee has a unique taste and is favored by world-famous coffee companies such as Nestle. Since 1988, the government of Pu'er City (formerly Simao City, renamed Pu'er City in 2007) has promoted the rapid development of coffee planting industry around the strategic goal of building "Coffee Capital of China". It has become the main coffee producing area with the largest planting area, the highest yield and the best quality in the country and the main distribution center of coffee trade. At present, there are 153 fresh coffee fruit peeling processing plants, 42 shelling processing plants and 3 deep processing plants in the city.

Coffee is the same as tea, the required planting conditions are more demanding on the natural environment. All need a certain altitude, sunshine and temperature difference. Pu'er city is surrounded by mountains, with obvious vertical climate, large temperature difference between day and night and long frost-free period.

Due to the special geographical climate and ecological environment, the small-grain coffee planted has superior natural quality and unique flavor.

The planting area of small grain coffee in Yunnan accounts for about 73% of the whole country, while the planting area of Pu'er coffee accounts for about 90% of that in Yunnan. Pu'er coffee has good color and quality, and has the unique quality characteristics of "rich and lasting aroma, slightly sour taste", good sour taste and consistency, and strong coffee flavor.

It is no accident that coffee cultivation began in Yunnan. The geographical location of Yunnan is within the scope of the world coffee "gold planting belt", and its natural conditions are very suitable for coffee cultivation. Yunnan coffee growing area is located in the subtropical plateau, which belongs to the "golden planting belt" of coffee beans in the world. The fertile terraces with an elevation of 800m to 1300m between south and north latitude 22 °and the crimson soil conditions with a PH of 56.5m provide a unique growth environment for small seed coffee beans (Arabica, also known as Arabica coffee beans).

The small seed coffee produced here is well-proportioned, mellow in taste and high in aroma. It is famous at home and abroad for its strong but not bitter, fragrant but not strong, mellow and natural fruit flavor. In 1993, Yunnan small Coffee stood out among tens of thousands of coffees selected from more than 100 countries and regions around the world and won the Eureka Award at the 42nd Brussels Eureka Expo.

Yunnan is the first area where coffee cultivation appeared in China, which has a history of more than 100 years. Around 1900, Tian Deneng, a French missionary, came to a Yi village called Zhu Kula in Binchuan near Dali, Yunnan Province. He brought a coffee seedling and coffee growing technology from Vietnam. It is said that the ancestor of this coffee seedling can be traced back to the coffee seedling given by Dutch coffee merchants to King Road XIV of France in 1715. This coffee seedling planted by French missionaries more than 100 years ago to meet the needs of daily drinking has become the origin of coffee cultivation in Yunnan.
