This is the main reason why yellow bourbon and red bourbon are more common and pink bourbon is less seen.

In fact, this is not the case. for one thing, the pace of producing powdery bourbon from natural hybridization between yellow bourbon and red bourbon will not stop; second, almost all Arabica coffees are self-pollinated, that is, the coffee flowers and pollen to be pollinated may come from the same plant, or even the same flower, which greatly improves the stability of the expression of recessive traits. Therefore, in order to avoid genetic contamination of other varieties, a relatively independent planting environment is very necessary when planting powder bourbon.
There is another saying about the gene of Colombia. Some studies have found that it is produced by the natural cross between Colombia and Kaddura. Caturra is an excellent variety of Bourbon, while Colombia, as a key coffee tree in Colombia, has obvious advantages, high yield and resistance to leaf rust, but mediocre flavor and lack of delicate sour and sweetness.
