Peru is located in western South America, with a coastline of 2254 kilometers. The Andes, which runs from north to south, accounts for 1/3 of Peru's total area and has a dry and mild climate. 98% of Peruvian coffee is grown in the jungle at the foot of the Andes. Coffee beans from Chaximayo in central Peru and Cusco in the south are the most famous varieties of Peruvian coffee.
Peruvian coffee trees are mostly planted at high altitude. this geographical condition creates the unique flavor of Peruvian coffee: the sunny style of the plateau, fresh acidity in the mouth, soft and round sweetness, and medium mellowness that gives a mild and unburdened taste.
