Step 1

Prepare hot water, weigh the coffee in the best flavor period, grind it into powder (usually slightly finer than granulated sugar), the ratio of powder to water is generally 1: 15 (depending on your favorite concentration) beans can be roasted light or medium-deep.

Step 2

Place the round filter paper in a removable plastic cover pressed by the Philharmonic.

Step 3

Rinse filter paper and cover with hot water. Hot water plays a dual role here: 1, help the filter paper adhere to the lid; 2, preheat the sharing pot, and remember to pour out the water after preheating. Note: because the water is hot and the lid is small, please carefully pinch the protruding "ear" of the lid and pour the water slowly so that the hot water can be absorbed by the filter paper and will not burn your hands.

Step 4

Assemble the Philharmonic pressure (refer to the following figure for installation direction). Please make sure that the whole assembly is dry, as any residual moisture will affect the tightness of the equipment.

Step 5

With the end of the cover facing up, press the Philharmonic on the scale, and then remove the weight.

Step 6

Pour in the coffee powder. Be careful not to spill coffee powder into the circular groove at the top of the Philharmonic pressure. Check the correct amount of powder before removing the skin weight.

Step 7

Start the timer. Add twice the weight of hot water (for example, 15 grams of coffee powder and 30 grams of hot water). The hot water should be about 92 degrees. Make sure the coffee powder is evenly soaked, stir gently with a stirring stick if necessary, and then let stand for 30 seconds.

Step 8

Pour in the remaining hot water. After one minute, stir with a stirring stick about 10 times (circle or cross).

Step 9

Put a cap on the Philharmonic and make sure it is tightly locked in the groove. Quickly control and flip the entire assembly, place it on the sharing pot, and begin to exert downward pressure. You will encounter about 30 pounds of resistance here. If the push feels too easy, the grinding may be too rough; if it is difficult to push, it is likely to be too fine.

Step 10

Unscrew the cover, just push the inner part of the Philharmonic pressure to the bottom, and you can easily pop up the coffee dregs and filter paper.
