The ratio of coffee to water

For most brewing methods and flavors, you can start from 1:15 to 1:18. The first is coffee with a strong flavor. The second one will be lighter.

I suggest giving it a try and trying different proportions to determine your preference for different baking and brewing methods.

In general, however, for most methods, you may not want to go beyond 1:12 because the results are too confusing. If the temperature is below 1:20, you will have tasteless coffee, which is probably too bitter.

For many coffee drinkers, drip coffee is the most common one. This method is also called infusion brewing, and you can use either an automatic drip filter or a manual drip filter like Chemex.

This is an effective way to make coffee because there is a steady stream of fresh water flowing through the coffee. This helps to extract all the TDS without being oversaturated (we'll see below).

Because of its efficiency, drip irrigation generally requires less coffee. The ratio of 1:15 to 1:17 will take you from bold to standard.
