Instant Coffee

Instant coffee is made from roasted and ground coffee beans. Then extract the ground coffee beans with hot water to restore the taste and aroma of the coffee. This process is similar to using a coffee filter at home. Then use one of two methods to dry the coffee extract:

Spray drying

In the process of spray drying, the coffee extract is sprayed into the hot air at the top of a cylindrical tower. When the water droplets fall, they dry, and when they reach the bottom, they become fine powder. The powder can then be made into particles to facilitate drug administration and dissolution. As a result of the very rapid drying that occurs in this process, the quality of the aroma and flavor is preserved. Spray drying is the most commonly used drying process.

Freeze drying method

In the freeze-drying process, the coffee extract is frozen to about-40 °C, and then cut into small particles. Frozen particles are dried at low temperature and vacuum. Under extremely low temperature and mild drying conditions, the quality of aroma and flavor is protected.
