Introduction to Qianjie-Guatemala Aurora Manor Coffee
The Coban Rain Forest (Rainforest Coban), located in the central part of Guatemala, is one of the eight major coffee producing areas in Guatemala, and the coffee from the Koban area is significantly different from other producing areas in Guatemala. The area has abundant rainfall, and the whole year is divided into at most two seasons, the rainy season and the rainy season.
This batch of Aurora Manor (Finca Aurora) Labina lot (Rabinal Lot) is located in the mountainous area of the town of Cubulco in the province of Baja Verapaz. The province of Verapas (Verapaz) can be divided into two blocks, while the estate still has other batches from the Santa Cruz Velapas (Santa Cruz Verapaz) mountains of Upper Vilapas (Alta Verapaz).
Aurora Manor has been growing coffee since 1887, and the planting area belongs to the subtropical cloud forest (Cloud Forest). Cloud forest is a kind of mountain rain forest located in the tropics or subtropics, which is characterized by the density and continuity of the forest, often or seasonally surrounded by clouds and fog, and the ground and vegetation of the forest are often covered with a lot of moss, which is a special geographical environment and climate. The average altitude here is about 1450 meters, and the batch comes from 1700 meters above sea level. The manor has spared no effort in its awareness and efforts to protect the environment, and has been certified by the Rainforest Alliance (Rainforest Alliance).
Aurora Manor was founded in the 19th century and was run by German immigrants. In the 20th century, in addition to coffee, the manor also produced jute bags, glass products, and even molasses. The manor still retains its original architectural appearance and early antique production equipment. About 15 years ago, Italian investors bought the manor, modernized the production facilities in the estate, and began to plant new coffee varieties, expanding the planting area of coffee trees, and focusing more on the production of coffee. to provide higher quality coffee.
