Qianjie-introduction to Rosa Coffee
I don't know if you've heard of it, but some people say that there are only two kinds of boutique coffee beans: one is Rosa coffee, and the rest of Arabica coffee is another!
Although this is a bit of an exaggerated joke, it is undeniable that Rosa coffee is also recognized as the most noble coffee bean in the boutique, especially in the past 15 years. For example, the top raw bean competition in the coffee industry, the Best Panama (BOP) competition, specially distinguishes the rose summer varieties from other varieties, which shows the strength of the rose summer varieties.
Rose coffee beans are also known as geisha, but they do not originate in Japan, but they are named because the mountain where they grew up in Ethiopia is called Gesha, which happens to be pronounced homonym with the traditional Japanese geisha Geisha, but in recent years, Chinese transliteration is mostly Rosa Coffee.
Although the original hometown of this coffee bean is in the Gesha Mountains in southwestern Africa, coffee farmers do not like to grow this kind of coffee because the yield is not high after it was introduced to Panama. Until the Emerald Manor La Esmeralda in Panama shone with this coffee bean in the Panamanian cup test in 2004, Rosa's fame began to spread.
Another reason is that the output of Rosa coffee is relatively small, so when people equate the price with quality, our Rosa coffee has become a legend in an instant. At the Best Panama (BOP) Competition in 2019, Panamanian Rose Summer Coffee continues to be the most expensive coffee at a high price of $1029 per pound!
Until 2004, Rose Summer Coffee had been unknown. When testing the coffee in Panamanian Emerald Manor, it was found that some coffee trees tasted slightly different from other coffee trees and had a very unique citrus fruit flavor.
Before 2004, when they were dealing with coffee, they picked all the coffee trees planted on the manor together, and in 2004 they decided to deal with the coffee fruits from the strange-looking coffee trees independently.
So at the time of accident, they found that these coffee varieties, which were originally used to prevent wind and diseases and insect pests, actually had the flavor of Ethiopian coffee beans and had a strong floral flavor. Of course, the Emerald Manor also found that this variety of beans did come from Ethiopia, and the earliest literature also showed that the beans had been planted in Panama in the 1960s.
In short: Qianjie is a coffee research hall, happy to share the knowledge about coffee with you, we share unreservedly just to make more friends fall in love with coffee, and there will be three low-discount coffee activities every month. The reason is that Qianjie wants to make more friends drink the best coffee at the lowest price, which has been Qianjie's tenet for 6 years!
