Sulawesi Sulawesi, formerly known as the Silebes Island Celebes, is one of the oldest islands in the archipelago, exposing rocks for more than a million years. There are yellowish-red gray soils, which often have several layers of clay beneath the surface and are rich in iron.

The main producers of Arabica coffee include the high-altitude Toraja Highlands and the Enrekon Enrekang region in the south. Kalosi in the south is the main trading place for coffee beans in the region and, like Manning, has become a brand.

Toraja (Toraja): in the highlands of southeastern Sulawesi, the island's most famous producing area is also the name of the island's boutique beans. Toraja is not a place name, a city name, a variety name, or a manor name, but a people who live in the mountains of central Sulawesi Island and are good at growing coffee. Toraja is a very distinctive ethnic group. They have maintained many primitive customs, such as boathouses, hanging coffins and so on.

Toraja is also a rare boutique bean in the world, distributed on rugged slopes of about 1200 meters in central and southwestern Sulawesi. Because it is located in the plateau and mountainous area, the infrastructure construction is extremely backward, and the traffic is very inconvenient. Therefore, it is not easy to plant and harvest Toraja coffee beans, and the yield is not high. It can be said that Toraja is more precious and rare than Manning or Golden Manning.

In addition to the visible dark green, Toraja raw beans show low acidity, thick taste, soft and long fruit flavor, highlighting the uniqueness of Sulawesi Toraja coffee, which is different from Sumatra Manning. Mild acidity with some ripe grape flavor, clean but solid taste, the latter part of the caramel sweetness, lingering in the mouth.
