Costa Rica "TARRAZU" Coffee

The Tarasu County area produces some of the best Costa Rican coffee on a consistent basis around. The capital San Marcos is about 1,350 meters above sea level, but the surrounding mountains are 1,700 meters high, so the altitude is high and the best coffee can be developed. Tarrazu region is located in the mountains of the interior of the country, the lowest elevation is 1200 meters, and the best coffee in this region is relatively strong, emitting a complex aroma. Almost all Tarrazu coffees are grown strictly to a high proportion.

San Marcos de Tarrazu is known for producing quality coffee. La Minita Coffee Farm in Tarrazu is known for its highly rated Arabica coffee.

Costa Rica "MONTE CRISOL" Coffee

One of the best coffees in Costa Rica is Costa Monte Crissol coffee grown in the central valley of the western part of the country. Monte Crisol is known for its sweetness, silky body and fruity brightness. The brewed coffee also exhibits a blueberry base and has a buttery flavor.

Costa Rica "Alajuela" Coffee

Alajuela is located in the north-central region of Costa Rica and is known for its steep slopes, ranging from 100 to 2,600 meters above sea level. Coffee is mostly grown and harvested from 1200 to 1600 meters and is known for its apple and apricot flavor. Caturra and Catuai are the main varieties.

Costa Rican "CARTAGO" Coffee

The Cartago region in Del Guarco Valley is almost the dead center of Costa Rica. Coffee is grown mainly in the Cartago region between 1,200 and 1,650 meters, and tasting notes indicate that it has a strong spicy and nutty flavor. Caturra and Catuai are the main varieties.

Heredia and Tres Rios Region

Coffee from the Heredia and Alajuela regions of Costa Rica is known for its fullness, richness, intense flavor and acidity. Tres Rios is located near the Pacific coast and is known for producing bright coffee with sweet, mild flavors. These areas range from 1,200 to 1,650 metres above sea level.
