Brief introduction of Manor
There are two flower gods in the coffee world, both from Antigua, a Raminita manor and the protagonist Belacamona Manor.
In 1910, the Zelaya family started their own coffee business in Antigua. The estate covers an area of more than 100ha, which is regarded as a large and medium-sized estate locally. Thanks to the fertile volcanic soil, excellent microclimate, excellent ancient varieties, and traditional shade planting, it has established a good reputation of the 100-year-old manor, among which the "Flower God" is the most interesting.
In 2000, the fourth generation Luis Pedro Zelaya of Manor saw the trend of boutique coffee and devoted itself to it. In addition to introducing new technology for agricultural management and greatly improving its quality and output, it also began to carry out the most exquisite micro-batch production of boutique coffee. This year alone, it launched four batches, including Green House, bourbon and B300 Classic.
The Zelaya family first started the Carmona farm. In recent years, Luis began to try to plant a single variety, from bourbon purification to the variety B300, all done here, and then the Bella Vista treatment plant. In addition to the raw bean processing equipment, a new multi-storey greenhouse was recently built to carry out the experiment of greenhouse drying treatment. Finally, there is Zelcafe, which not only runs the coffee business of the whole family, but also promotes cooperation with the surrounding estates and regional small farmers. Luis hopes that Zelcafe can become a business platform for local coffee families, providing better job opportunities for the next generation and providing the best coffee in the world.
