About us
Queen Manor (Fazenda Rainha) is located in the southern Brazilian state of Sao Paulo near the border of Minas high mountain area, about 1000~1540 meters above sea level, annual average temperature of 19 degrees C, coffee beans grow slowly, conducive to coffee flavor formation; coupled with non-plain terrain, large relief, can only rely on manual harvesting, so coffee quality is far better than other Brazilian plateau beans!
The estate has been established for more than a century and belongs to the Carvalho Dias family. It has won several COE awards and is currently owned by José Renato G. Dias is responsible for management.
Queen Manor is very caring for employees, because it is a long-term employment relationship, so employees 'families are located around the estate, there are also medical stations and schools in the park to provide services for employees and their families; more particularly, there is a church Capelinha de Santa Clara designed by Oscar Niemayer and built by employees themselves in the estate, which is currently used by employees and has also become a well-known local attraction.
Generally, when the coffee fruit ripens, the outer skin turns from green to red, and the Yellow bourbon stays in the bright yellow appearance, so it is named after it! Yellow Bourbon was first discovered in Brazil and has become a constant winner in COE competitions. It is also a representative variety of Brazilian fine coffee. Typical flavors are nuts, cocoa and citrus tones.
