Description
The coffee comes from the Tarazu region of Costa Rica, which is famous for growing coffee. The factory, called PuenteTarraz ú, is located in Santa Cruz de Leon Cortez (Santa Cruz deLe ó n Cort é s) and produces about 800 bags a year-so it is a fairly small production activity in a large coffee product program.
Finca El Potrero covers an area of about 22 hectares, of which 20 are engaged in coffee production, all at an altitude of 1600 meters.
At first, I asked them if they could treat the same cup of coffee with three different kinds of honey. In my opinion, I really want to have white, red and black honey. They told me they could do better, and finally we got those three plus washing plates and black honey rose summer! Fast forward to this year, we have five different kinds of coffee, but they are different from the original coffee-in 2019, we have yellow, red and black honey bourbon, natural bourbon and white rose summer!
After picking coffee cherries, you can leave the cherries in the (sun-processed) state or remove them shortly after picking. When you take a seed from a fruit (coffee beans as we know it), you usually use the fermentation broth to remove it for cleaning (like this). This requires a certain amount of water and can pollute local rivers and streams (don't worry, in this case, they are treating water in factories). In addition, there is a general shortage of water in Costa Rica. The natural and honey pulping process is a perfect solution. There is a noise remover that can eliminate this mucus and can be set to different degrees.
It initially came in three types, but its scope has expanded over time: in the coffee world, there are white honey (the most removed), golden honey treatment, yellow honey treatment, red honey treatment and black honey treatment. By the time you use black honey, you are not actually far away from the sun process, so you can enjoy some similar taste, but the edge of honey processing makes it slightly deviate from the natural process.
In the cup, I want you to think of a pot of peaches and raspberry yogurt. At the front end, peach and raspberry flavors match perfectly, followed by a touch of sour yogurt at the end. The creamy texture highlights all this.
