Ice pupil filter cup
Both the ice pupil filter cup and the V60 filter cup belong to the conical single-hole filter cup, and its structure is divided into three parts. Side view is that the height is divided into three. The uppermost rib-free structure has a smooth wall, similar to the Kono filter cup. In terms of parameters, Qianjie used 15g coffee powder, the ratio of powder to water was 1:15, the degree of grinding was fine grinding, the pass rate of 0.85mm screen was 80%, and the water temperature was 91 ℃.
The cooking method is three stages in front street, and the first stage is filled with 30g water and steamed for 30 seconds. The second stage is injected around the concentric circle to 125g, and the third stage is injected when the coffee liquid level drops to 1 beat 2, and 225g is injected around the concentric circle. After all the coffee liquid of the filter cup flows into the lower pot, the extraction ends.
Feedback on the cooking process between the ice pupil filter cup and the V60: on the filter paper bonding level, the ice pupil filter cup fits better than the V60, because its filter cup wall is on the same plane (no protruding ribs, only sunken striations). It is easier to fit than V60, which is the gospel of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
At the level of the launching rate of the filter cup, the ice pupil filter cup is faster. In the front section of water injection, the ice pupil is about the same as that of V60, and the last stage of water injection is carried out almost at the same time (1 minute and 10 seconds). When the final extraction is finished, the ice pupil takes 1 minute 45 seconds and V60 1 minute 57 seconds.
Flavor comparison
Ice pupil: clear aroma of fermented wine, sweet berries and raisins, fresh and smooth taste.
V60: strong fermented wine, berry-like acidity, sweet raisins, with a hint of tea at the end. The aftertaste is orange fragrance and a touch of sucrose.
Compared with the two, the advantage of the ice pupil is that it can highlight the sweetness and cleanliness of coffee. And the taste will be a little thick. V60 enriches the layering of coffee. Give people a sense of fullness.
Ice pupil filter cup because the filter paper at the top of the filter cup is in a completely sealed state, then if the water flow is too much and the water temperature is too high to flood the diversion tank, but because there is no room for exhaust, the falling rate of the water level will slow down and can be soaked like a KONO filter cup to avoid insufficient extraction. The grooves in the middle and lower layers can quickly guide the flow down and avoid blockage, so the coffee brewed with the ice pupil filter cup will have a good mouth.
