Yega Xuefei Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union YCFCU | Fruit Tintin, Waka Cooperative Coffee flavor and taste characteristics

The Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union-abbreviated YCFCU, was established in June 2002 and was registered as a cooperative by notice (147Univer 1998) shortly afterwards. The union started with 13 member organizations. At present, these primary cooperatives are established to serve as the political weapons of the Dege regime. These 13 cooperatives were constantly interfered by the government and other organizations in terms of resources and finance, and were always exploited and worked under harsh conditions of corruption. After the collapse of the former regime, the primary cooperative ceased to operate because the socialist model had become dilapidated. They lack ownership or governance, which, in turn, is no longer profitable to attract the farmers who led to their bankruptcy. After the declaration of cooperatives, coffee farmers are reluctant to start a new cooperative experience. Coupled with the coffee crisis in the second half of the 1990s, primary cooperatives were not ready to join until trade unions were established with strong credibility. In the years that followed, the trade union began to grow, when it had proved that it was respectable as a creditor and guarantor of junior cooperatives. This is the successful record of the Yega Sheffield Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union.

Since then, the alliance has grown into members of 28 cooperative alliances, with more than 45100 farmers and supporting more than 300000 family members. All of these cooperatives are located in the Gedeo region of southern Ethiopia. The area is located in an area of the country famous for growing coffee. These 62000 hectares of gardens specialize in growing coffee, producing an average of 15500 tons of Yega Chevy coffee per year.

Qianjie will briefly introduce the coffee beans of the two major cooperatives, Guodintin and Waka.

This coffee bean is processed by the Waka Cooperative. Alemayehu Alako Farm is a member of the Waka Cooperative, this washed coffee is pure, fresh and floral, dry and wet with strong citrus aromas, lemon, kumquat, white grape juice and so on. It's as sweet as soda.

Guodingding is the village area that first became independent a few years ago (Banko Gotitii became independent from the large Waka cooperative in 2012). Many self-employed small-scale farmers were also members of the Waka cooperative, and the technology of producing coffee was not to mention.

This watery coffee has floral, berry and citrus flavors with a hint of tea at the end.
