Comments: dark slightly twisted grayish brown leaves have a subtle citrus flavor, like lemon or limes. When the leaves are added to a preheated cover bowl, the leaves emit more intense sweet citrus, fruit, cocoa and wood aromas. After a quick rinse, the moist leaves are dark olive and brown, with an unexpected smoky / roasted aroma and a hint of flowers.

Tea is brewed with 3-4 grams of tea in a 70ml cover bowl.

First brew (5 seconds): the wine is light honey yellow with delicate floral and charcoal aromas.

Second brewing (10 seconds): after the second injection, the liquid turns dark yellow. It has a forward earthy note, followed by smoke and subtle floral scent. Take a sip and the root of the tongue is dry.

Third brewing (15 seconds): the golden wine has a stronger floral aroma, but the charcoal taste is still dominant. The astringency in the back of the mouth is still there.

Fourth brewing (20 seconds): spirits are still a strong mixture of roasted charcoal, with faint floral aromas and some earthy flavors.

Fifth brewing (25 seconds): the taste is very subtle and faint.

Despite the smell of citrus in the dry leaves, the citrus flavor is not in the wine itself, but more floral, earthy and smoky / charcoal. The more leaves you add, the stronger the smell of charcoal, which will drown out some of the more delicate scents of flowers.

It will be a good oolong tea for people looking for an easy brewing oolong tea or a more delicate floral blend of smoky flavors. I match it with cheese tarts. There are some lemons in the cheese tarts. The citrus flavor is more intense. This is a good oolong tea, but I personally want more citrus flavors (rating 3gam5).
