Mocha pot is the Italian method of brewing coffee, suitable for personal use of strong taste. The brewed coffee is close to Espresso, but because it does not generate enough pressure, it cannot be called Espresso in the strict sense. The pot is easy to brew, beautiful in shape and does not take up space. It is a more economical choice for ordinary families. However, it must be noted that the grinding of coffee powder should be finer, and the cooking time and amount of water should be mastered.

Early mocha pot material is mostly aluminum products, now more than stainless steel plastic material.

Preparation materials:

1, coffee powder, 8-9 grams (as far as possible to choose Espresso dedicated coffee beans, finely ground to the degree of fine sugar. If ground too fine, coffee grounds will penetrate the metal screen, leaving a residue, and cause over-extraction and too bitter, too astringent, if ground too coarse hot water too quickly through the coffee and cause insufficient extraction taste.)

2, the right amount of water (measured by the amount of water to boil a cup of Espresso, about 60-70 ml. Considering that coffee powder absorbs water, inject about 70-80 ml of water)

3. A set of mocha pots (about one or two cups of coffee)

4. Mocha special alcohol stove + bracket (JCL). (You can also use induction cookers, liquefied gas stoves, mocha pots are generally small, and cannot be placed stably on ordinary gas stoves, so it is important to buy a stable bracket)

5 or 10 grams of coffee

6. One set of Italian coffee cups and plates

Steps:

1. Pour water into the mocha pot (hot water is also available), and pay attention to the water not to exceed the safety valve.

2, put the right amount of finely ground coffee powder into the middle of the coffee container, gently squeeze with the bottom of the spoon and the edge, try to remove the gas in the coffee, fill the gap at the edge of the box. (It is best to fill the coffee container and gently flatten the coffee so that the water stays in the coffee longer and the coffee is not too weak)

3. Gently insert your fingers to remove the coffee particles left on the edge of the capsule, and then put the capsule into the top of the lower pot of water.

4. Tighten the upper pot and the lower pot of the mocha pot, and pay attention to keeping the lower pot upright so as not to soak the coffee prematurely.

5. Heat the mocha pot over medium to low heat. And pour boiling water into the coffee cup to warm the cup.

When the water boils, the steam generated will make the water pass through the funnel into the coffee. Turn down the heat immediately (if the fire is still very high, the water will quickly filter the coffee, making the brewed coffee sour and thin); when the kettle has a sound of water, the bubbling sound becomes intermittent, steam comes out, and the coffee aroma wafts out, it means that the coffee has been brewed.

7, turn off the heat source, and so on after the bubble stops, you can pour the pot of coffee into the cup, taste the authentic Italian coffee.

Notes:

1, if you are afraid of mocha pot brewed coffee residue, you can buy a special round filter paper, put this filter paper in the coffee powder and the middle of the seat filter.

2. Do not put the espresso pot on a stove with a heat source.

3, do not put the bottom of the mocha pot without water on the stove for too long.

4, mocha pot should be cleaned after each use.

5. Confirm that the sealing rubber at the bottom of the pot can still be used normally.

6. Before putting the coffee pot away, make sure that the bottom of the lower part of the pot has been dried and there is no water left.
