Last Updated: 2024/09/17, According to the law, only beans produced in the Blue Mountain area can be called Blue Mountain Coffee. High-quality Blue Mountain Coffee is divided into three grades: No. 1 (more than 17cm 18 mesh), No. 2 (16 mesh) and No. 3 (15 mesh), with 17 mesh equivalent to 17x64 inches; they all taste the same (all confirmed by dental sales plus government-approved professional cups), but of different sizes, and these three grades of raw beans are different.

According to the law, only beans from the Blue Mountain area can be called Blue Mountain Coffee. High-quality Blue Mountain Coffee is divided into three grades: No. 1 (more than 17cm 18 mesh), No. 2 (16 mesh) and No. 3 (15 mesh), and 17 mesh is equivalent to the size of 17x64 inches. Their taste (all confirmed by dental sales plus government-approved full-time personnel cup test) are all the same, only of different sizes. These three grades of raw beans have to be put into wooden barrels before they can be exported abroad. It is divided into three specifications: 70kg / 1 barrel, 30kg / 1 barrel and 15kg / 1 barrel. The bucket will be printed with the name of the farm, the initials of the importer's name, the batch number of each shipment and the name of the port of arrival. For example, the blue mountain coffee bucket entered by the Japanese company ATAKA Trading Co., Ltd. has the initials ATC in the blue mountain coffee bucket, while the blue mountain coffee bucket entered by the Shangshima Coffee Company in Japan has the initials UCC. So when you see the Blue Mountain coffee bucket, you can know that the coffee comes from the farm in the Garland Mountains, who is its importer and what port it goes to. At the same time, the dental exporter will also provide the importer with a certificate of origin in the color of Lu. This certificate of origin recognized by the government is only issued to the importer of the whole barrel unit (70kg / barrel, 30kg / barrel, 15kg / barrel), which records the name of the export manor, the name of the importer, the goods of that year, quantity, grade number, batch number, the name of the port of arrival, etc. (among the raw coffee beans produced outside the Blue Mountains area, only alpine coffee beans are packed in wooden buckets.) then those raw beans of different sizes, which are not good-looking on the surface but not bad in taste, the tooth sale plus the government stipulates that these raw beans can only be exported abroad in sacks. What is even worse than this is the coffee that has a defective taste. The government has strict regulations that this kind of coffee cannot be exported abroad in the form of raw beans. It can only be exported abroad after it is baked locally and must be strongly roasted, because only strong roasting can cover up or eliminate the defective taste, and the advantages of Lanshan coffee can be perfectly shown only when it is roasted shallowly. So if you buy blue mountain coffee in a domestic store, which is sold from teeth and imported directly, it is the lowest grade of blue mountain coffee, but at least it is true blue mountain coffee.
