The French press pot was invented by the French in 1850. because of its simple structure, easy to use and quick cleaning, it is still very popular and widely used for more than 150 years. After entering China, it has been transformed into a tea maker. It is really good to make tea, and it is convenient to filter out the tea.

Apparatus

French press pot stirring rod (optional)

Raw material

25 grams of coffee beans (about 1 serving, grinding needs to be thicker, similar to the thickness of white granulated sugar)

200 ml of hot water (about 1 person, the water temperature is about 90 degrees, the water temperature is very important, do not ignore)

Production steps

1. Warm pot, in the French press pot, pour the right amount of hot water, warm the pot, by the way, you can clean the coffee pot and strainer.

two。 Pour the ground coffee powder into the pot and gently pat and smooth.

3. To inject hot water, mainly pour it in a circle, so that the hot water is evenly drenched with coffee powder (even if it is troublesome, you can ignore this requirement, in fact, the impact is not great).

4. Put the lid on the pot, but do not press down the strainer.

After 5.2 minutes, you can choose to stir once, or you can not stir, wait for 4 minutes, stirring can increase the concentration but also increase the miscellaneous flavor of coffee, not stirring is vice versa.

6. Slowly press down the strainer, pour into the coffee cup and you are done!

The focus of French coffee is the water temperature, brewing time and coffee grinding degree, in which if the grinding degree is too fine, the filter can not completely filter out the coffee powder, making the coffee soup very muddy; too low water temperature will make the coffee too sour and astringent, too high will be too bitter and scorched; too long will be too bitter, too short will be tasteless.

Finally, remember to pour the coffee into the cup immediately after the French pot is ready, otherwise the coffee powder soaked in the water all the time will change the taste of the coffee.
