Professional coffee terminology

Americano: American coffee. Two SHOTS of espresso roasted coffee, then poured into hot water, made by blending.

Breve: a kind of latte. Make it half espresso and half hot milk.

Cappuccino: make it with espresso and foamed milk, but it has more foam than hot milk added to the latte.

Con Panna: Italian, meaning "with whipped cream".

Creme: at Starbucks, the term means a hot drink that doesn't contain coffee.

Demitasse: it means "half a cup" in French. In this case, very small cups are used to hold espresso.

Doppio: in Italian, it means double. But only for two SHOTS espresso. For example, you can say doppio espresso, but you can say Double latte.

Dry: more foam, less milk.

Espresso: espresso. The purest, most fragrant and thickest state of coffee.

Frappuccino blended beverage: Starbucks special, delicious and smooth special cold drink.
