Drinking coffee is the first thing Greeks do when they get up every day. They drank Turkish coffee, ground it into powder and soaked it in a small cup. It looked like mud. It is a grand etiquette for Ethiopian families to treat guests with coffee. When close relatives, friends or distinguished guests come to the door, the host is served with coffee. After the first round of drinking, the hostess filled the pot with water, continued to brew with the rest of the coffee, and poured a second cup for everyone. After the second round, add boiled water and make a toast to the third cup. It usually ends after three rounds of drinking. It is said that if there is plenty of time, there are also people who drink four or five rounds. If another guest arrives before the first drink, he will certainly be just in time to drink with everyone. If he comes when he is about to drink the third round, it shows that he is lucky and can have a third drink with everyone. If the new guest arrives during the second round of drinking, he cannot join halfway, otherwise he will be considered ominous. At this time, the hostess cooked separately for him, and after he had finished his first drink, he would drink the second round with everyone. At the beginning of the first cup, guests taste one or two sips, do not forget to praise the taste of coffee, otherwise the host will mistakenly think that you think the quality of coffee is poor, or the hostess is not good at brewing coffee, which will cause unhappiness. In this way, you will not enjoy the second and third round of delicious coffee.
