Basic knowledge of Coffee drinking coffee after dinner makes your blood sugar soar
According to the Daily Mail of April 4, a new study has found that drinking coffee after eating high-fat foods may lead to a rapid rise in blood sugar, damaging your health. The findings have been published in the journal Nutrition.
Researchers at the University of Guelph in Canada found that when participants drank sugary water after drinking a fatty drink, their blood sugar increased by 32%. Five hours later, they continued to drink two cups of caffeinated coffee and sugar water an hour later. It was found that participants' blood sugar levels were 65% higher than before they had not consumed fatty drinks and caffeine.
Drinking non-caffeinated coffee can improve the steep rise in blood sugar and limit the intake of saturated fatty acids, processed foods and junk fast food, said Mary Sulebudoan, author of the paper. The study found that the effects of these foods on the human body are not only serious, but also lasting. (Yang Xiaowen)
