Inborn talent, coupled with acquired efforts, makes Lai Yuquan learn a good ability to choose beans, bake, and brew coffee, from working as a student to working after graduation, and now starting a business, constantly accumulating energy and strength, working as long as 12 hours a day, never yelling tired and bitter!

Years of efforts have made him stand out in the national and world coffee industry. In 2012, he passed the coffee cup test evaluation of the American Fine Coffee Association and the recognition of the international coffee quality appraiser; in 2013, he passed a number of international certifications of the European Fine Coffee Association, including coffee bean qualification test, coffee bean roasting qualification test, functional qualification test, gold extraction qualification examiner and so on.

These energies even broke out in the 2014 World Barista Competition held in Italy a few days ago. Lai Yuquan won the champion of the bean baking project in one fell swoop, beating more than a dozen baking experts from Europe and Asia. When the first place was announced at the conference, Lai Yuquan jumped up happily, accepted the award with the national flag of the Republic of China, and told the international audience that "I am from Taiwan!"

Lai Yu-Quan believes that Taiwan's coffee industry has a large number of talents and is very competitive in the world, and many people can perform very well. He encourages domestic talents to also go out to compete to learn how good players from other countries handle beans and make coffee. For himself, he will not stop just because he won the first place in the world, but will continue to pursue a higher level.
