Indonesia National Treasure Coffee Bean Toraja
Light green unroasted raw Toraja coffee beans with round and plump grains
Every bucket of Toraja coffee beans has a birth number.
Most coffee beans are half lentils (left), while Tonaga beans are full (right).
This bucket of 1.5kg Indonesian Toraja coffee beans is worth 2000 Hong Kong dollars.
Producing areas:
The Tonaga (Tana Toraja) mountain area of southwest Sulawi (South Sulawesi), 1700 meters above sea level, is an alpine volcanic terrain with sufficient sunlight, a large temperature difference between day and night, and a normal temperature of 24 ℃ ~ 25 ℃. High-quality Arabica beans are grown because of the volcanic weakly acidic soil in the fertile tropical highlands.
The appearance of Toraja coffee beans is very similar to that of Mantenin coffee in Sumatra (Sumatra). It is treated by Indonesian traditional natural process / semi-washing method. The best Toraja coffee beans come from Kalosi, with an annual output of only 3000 barrels, each with a code, and each barrel of coffee beans carved by hand. It is the only handicraft in the world and is very expensive.
This coffee is full-bodied and rich, with a low sour taste with fresh earthy flavor and a long throat rhyme, challenging the taste buds of coffee glutton. Therefore, coffee is famous all over the world and has become a gift "tribute" for the Indonesian government to entertain the European Union.

What are the characteristics of organic coffee beans
In many parts of the world, growers use pesticides to control the growth of coffee pests, and moist and foggy coffee at high altitudes are more vulnerable to fungi, so growers often use pesticides to treat them. Many people believe that coffee can be called organic coffee as long as synthetic pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers are not used during coffee growth. in fact, it is only in third parties (except coffee makers and producers).

Rare Celebes Tongkonan national treasure beans
Celebes Tongkonan national treasure beans are the top coffee beans produced by Toraja on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. The reason why they are rare is that the annual output is less than 1000 barrels (1.5kg per barrel of raw beans). Most of the output is monopolized by European traders. It is used by the Indonesian royal family and EU officials as exclusive top beans for gifts. There is little circulation on the market, and a batch of them flowed into Taiwan in 2009.
