The frozen storage of coffee seeds enables the seeds to be preserved well for a long time.
The French Development Institute has recently successfully invented a method of long-term frozen storage of small fruit coffee seeds, which provides a reliable means for establishing a small fruit coffee seed bank and protecting biodiversity. Coffee belongs to Rubiaceae evergreen shrubs or small trees, mainly produced in tropical areas, there are small fruit coffee, medium fruit coffee and large fruit coffee and so on. Small fruit coffee is native to the Arab region and is currently one of the most widely grown in the world. However, due to the poor cold tolerance of small fruit coffee seeds, the long-term preservation of this kind of coffee seeds has been considered difficult or even impossible. According to reports, the method invented by the French Development Research Institute is mainly divided into four steps: the first step is seed drying and dehydration, the second step is slow cooling and rapid immersion of seeds in liquid nitrogen, the third is reheating, and the last is rehydration. The researchers say this method can ensure that the reserve organization of coffee seeds will not be damaged, so that the seeds can be preserved for a long time.

A piece of beans absorbs more nutrients, and the color, shape and particles of coffee beans are relatively large. The fragrance of boiled coffee is constantly sweet, and the quantity is relatively small, so it is also known as Dream Coffee. Taiwan
