Siphon coffee brewing method

Soak the filter in a hot bath for at least five minutes. Place the filter at the bottom of the top assembly (hopper) of your siphon and hook the filter tail to the bottom of the glass tube of the hopper.

Install the bottom assembly (light bulb) of the siphon pot and pour 300ml hot water into it.

First put the bottom pot (light bulb) on the heat source, and then insert the hopper into the light bulb.

When the water is heating, prepare 20-25 grams of coffee beans and grind them into powder, which is a little smaller than the coffee.

Soon, the water in the light bulb began to boil and rose into the hopper. For some physically related reasons, we don't fully understand that a little water stays at the bottom. Don't worry about it.

Once the water enters the hopper, adjust the heat source to control the water temperature between 185 and 195 degrees Fahrenheit

Pour the coffee powder into the hopper and gently stir with a mixing stick (recommended bamboo) to soak the coffee powder completely.

And then wait 1 minute and 10 seconds.

Gently remove the siphon pot from the heat source and stir 10 times.

Then your coffee liquid will slowly leak down and end up in the light bulb.

Pull out the upper hopper and let the coffee liquid cool for a few minutes before drinking.
