Introduction: Konga Cooperative is one of the 22 members of YCFCU. It was founded in 1975 and now has 2351 members. Members of each cooperative elect its own executive committee, who is responsible for making investment decisions, such as the purchase of new equipment, tree maintenance and the distribution of benefits among members. YCFCU also appoints professional managers for cooperatives to supervise the whole process, and managers are responsible to members and executive committee members.
