The Constitution of the United Republic was enacted in April 1977 and has since been amended 14 times. The United Republic has a coalition government and a local government in Zanzibar. In 1992, the 8th Amendment to the Constitution clearly stated that Tanzania is a multi-party democracy and pursues the policy of socialism and self-reliance. The 11th constitutional amendment in 1994 provides that the Government of the United Republic shall have a President and a Vice-President, the President shall be the head of State, the head of Government and the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, who shall be directly elected by voters and elected by a simple majority for a term of five years, may be re-elected for a second term. The President and the Vice-President must come from the same political party and from the mainland and Zanzibar respectively. The Vice-President cannot be concurrently appointed by the President of San or the Prime Minister of the United Republic for a term of five years and shall not be re-elected for more than two terms. The President appoints the Prime Minister, who presides over the day-to-day affairs of the coalition government. The 13th Amendment to the Constitution in 2000 redefined Tanzania's political system, confirming that the principles of "socialism" and "self-reliance" in the original constitution represent democracy, self-reliance, human rights, freedom, equality, fraternity and unity.

The current constitution of Zanzibar was formulated in 1979 and has since been amended. According to the mulberry constitution revised in 2010, President Sang is the head of the unity government, abolishing the establishment of the chief minister and establishing the first and second vice presidents. The presidential election of the United Republic is held at the same time as the presidential election of the United Republic. The presidential candidates are nominated by all mulberry political parties and directly elected by all the voters of the country. Those who get more than 2 votes are elected for a term of five years and can be re-elected for a second term. The president has the power to make decisions on government affairs, and the first and second vice presidents are accountable to the president. The first Vice-President shall be a member of the political party that represents the second largest seat in the general election. The second Vice-President shall be a member of Parliament from the same political party as the President, appointed by the President as the President's main aide and responsible for government affairs in the Council of Representatives, and shall exercise his functions and powers when the President dies or is unable to perform official duties. The President and the Vice-President allocate and appoint cabinet ministers according to the proportion of seats of each political party. The unity government has the right to handle internal affairs except 22 joint affairs such as foreign affairs, national defense, police, taxation, banking, currency, foreign exchange, aviation, ports, posts and telecommunications.

Market for coffee in Tanzania:

Coffee exports from Tanzania (Tanzania) play an important role in the whole national economy.

In the past, the coffee industry in Tanzania has been dominated by manor cultivation, but now more than 85% are grown by small farmers. Many small farmers form cooperative organizations, the most important of which is the Kilimanjaro Cooperative Alliance (KilimanjaroCooperativeUnion, referred to as KNCU). Tanzanian coffee is sold by the Tanzanian Coffee Management Council (TanzanianCoffeeMarketingBoard, TCMB) to private exporters by auction. In the 1980s, most coffee sales in Tanzania shifted from auctions to the characteristics of Tanzanian coffee sold directly to the Tanzania Coffee Management Committee:

Flavor: full-bodied and refreshing, with lower acidity than Kenyan coffee, pure flavor and aroma

Suggested baking method: medium baking

★★: good coffee producing areas in Tanzania:

Coffee bean-shaped berry coffee in Tanzania produces a lot of coffee and is said to be more fragrant than ordinary coffee. Generally speaking, coffee beans in Tanzania have extraordinary quality. For example, the high-quality Tanzanian AA coffee (ChaggaAA), produced in the Moshi area near Mount Kilimanjaro, is famous for its full-grained and fragrant quality. Due to political instability and rampant diseases and insect pests, the Tanzanian coffee industry has been damaged, resulting in a decline in the overall level of coffee and instability in quality, which in turn lead to lower prices. The result of lower prices is usually a further decline in the coffee industry. More notably, it is estimated that more than 12 per cent of Arabica coffee grown in northern Tanzania from 1969-1985 was smuggled into Kenya. Recently, however, the country's coffee industry has shown signs of improving. Although the process of improvement is slow, it is still encouraging because the quality of the coffee in Tanzania is excellent.
