Yirgacheffe, in the province of Sidama, is itself a small town, with three small producing areas of Wenago, Kochere and Gelena Abaya nearby. Because the flavor of coffee produced is almost the same as that of Yega Sheffield, Kochere is also classified as Yega Sheffield.

Although the body is petite, it is gentle and delicate, sweet and lovely, and it can attract thousands of favors without any modification. Medium baked Yega snow coffee has unique sweet aromas of lemon, flowers and honey, soft acidity and citrus flavors, fresh and bright on the palate.

Yega snow coffee uses the oldest sun treatment method, but in 1972, Ethiopia introduced water washing technology from Central and South America in order to improve its quality, making its jasmine and citrus fragrance clearer and more refined. It has become one of the best quality beans in the world, thanks to its exquisite washing technology.
