The characteristics, taste and flavor of El Salvador Pacamara coffee beans describe the producing areas.

Savanna climate. The plain area belongs to the tropical rain forest climate and the mountain area belongs to the subtropical forest climate. The average annual temperature is 25-28 ℃. The annual precipitation is more than 1800 mm in mountain areas and about 1000 mm in coastal areas. The rainy season is from May to October.

It has a positive effect on the aroma of coffee. In 2005, the Salvadoran mixed-race Pacamara boasted in coe, which confused many international cup testers and did not know how to score it. It was never expected that this hybrid bean not only broke the mellow boundary of coffee, but also expanded the visibility of Salvadoran coffee.

The name "Pacamara" is very good. It is a compound word of Pacas [Pacas] and elephant bean [Maragogepe]. Pacamara is an excellent variety produced by the Salvadoran Coffee Research Institute from 1957 to 1958. It was not until recent years that it became the darling of fine coffee.

The first model this year is the Pacamara from the Santa Barbara producing area. Pacamara is a hybrid of Maragogype (Ironka variety, Malago Gippe, also known as elephant bean) and Pacas (bourbon variety, Pacas). It inherits the large-grain bean shape of Maragogype and is recognized as one of the top boutique coffee beans in the world. Except for Honduras, it is widely cultivated in Guatemala, Mexico and other Central American regions.
