Yega Xuefei Yirga Cheffe
Yega Xuefei is a small town in Ethiopia, nearly 2000 meters above sea level. In the ancient saying, Yirga Cheffe,Yirga means to settle down, and Cheffe means wetlands. Thousands of coffee trees thrive, giving birth to the unique regional flavor of Yega Xuefei in the moisture, sunshine and breeze, with a mixture of flower and fruit aromas.
Yega Xuefei was originally planted by monks in Europe and later operated by coffee communities or cooperatives in the surrounding areas. Coffee trees are not planted in patches, but are scattered freely on the land. The forest, the countryside, and even the front and back of the house, grow quietly and easily. Perhaps because of this environment, brewed Yega Xuefei unique and charming flavor, with a strong aroma of flowers, fruit, acidity is rich but soft and pleasant, taste lubricated, if the juice is as sweet and bright. Konga is located in the town of Yegashefi in southern Ethiopia, a small area called Gedeo, where there are more than 600 small farmers. These small coffee farmers, many of whom are members of the Worka cooperative, have always produced coffee batches with amazing performance.
This Yega Chuefei uses natural sun treatment, picks the fruit by hand, and then does a manual panning before drying, and then prevents the sun (with peel and pulp) on a highly breathable canopy. The canopy not only increases air circulation, but also prevents coffee cherries from absorbing bad taste during drying, which is an important reason why it tastes cleaner than other sun-cured coffee.
The acidity of lemon and orange is delicate, the aroma of strawberry and wine is strong and deep, the taste is clean and complex, like fruit wine, it spreads layer by layer in the mouth. Hot drinks and cold drinks are all good.
