Description of Coffee Flavor and Flavor in No.1 place of SL28 White Honey COE in Herba processing Plant, Costa Rica

The Herba é treatment plant is located in the western valley of Costa Rica, on a hillside about five kilometers north of Naranjo. Its founder, Barrantes, has a history of 80 years. The estate is now jointly run by the sons and grandchildren of the founder Barretti brothers, with a total area of about 30 hectares of coffee plantation. Over the years, the manor harvested red berries and sold them to large local processing plants. However, since the purchase of a set of honey processing equipment in 2001, the coffee berries of the family's cousins have stopped taking away and all are sent to their own processing plant for processing. Due to the honey processing skills, the Herba processing plant won awards frequently. Since then, not only the name of the processing plant has become popular, but the income of family members has also increased rapidly, which has become a very successful case of the revolutionary movement of micro-processing plants in Costa Rica.

Originally, the manor mainly cultivated Villa-sarchi, a unique local variety in the western valley, which is a bourbon variety with strong wind resistance and love for high altitude environment, which is very suitable for cultivation in the western valley region. Raw beans have excellent acidity and various layered fruit aromas and high sweetness.

But in recent years, the manor has made many innovations, including the traditional bourbon, the well-known Kenyan variety SL28, Panama's brilliant geisha (Geisha). Although the main output of the manor still comes from the local excellent variety Weiya Shaqi, it has added the characteristics of some cutting-edge varieties, together with Herba é 's first-class honey processing skills in Costa Rica, which easily enabled the manor to win the 2015 COE championship and set a super high price tag of $42 per pound.
