Generally speaking, Lim Limu focuses on washed beans, which taste a little milder than Sidama and often have a sweet lemon sugar feel; although it is not as famous as Sidama and Yega Sheff coffee, it also produces many special flavor beans.

Lim coffee beans are mainly produced by local smallholders, although there are also some large state-owned estates in the region. Coffee is produced locally at altitudes of 1400-2200m, mainly native species, and the season is between November and January.

Most Lim coffees are grown at heights of 1200 to 1900 meters, and the coffee shape is not large, but it is quite clean.
