Juan Valdez, a fictional Colombian character, was designed by Doyle Dane Bernbach Advertising in 1958 and appeared in ads of the National Federation of Colombian Coffee growers to distinguish Colombian coffee from coffee from other countries. Juan Valdez usually shows up with a bag of harvested coffee beans with his mule Conchita, and Juan Valdez has become a symbol of Colombia and coffee.
The Cocaloy estate is located in the Sierra Nevada producing area of Colombia, about 1500 meters above sea level. The manor has a long history and has been passed on for more than three generations. The coffee fruit is a Tipica tree species, and the coffee farm is located in the primitive forest with flocks of birds and animals. It is not easy for ordinary people to enter here, and the winter climate is cold and the transportation is inconvenient. The harvested coffee fruit is treated with alpine ice-melting snow water and retains the freshest original sweet flavor.
