Our Mantenin comes from Kopepi Ketiara Coffee Cooperative, located in Aceh Kayo Mountain region in northern Sumatra, Indonesia.

Our old friends may be a little familiar with this cooperative. Kopepi Ketiara is a fair trade cooperative mainly composed of women. The founder of the cooperative is a female farmer Rahmah. Last year, the partner of the cooperative also came to Taiwan to witness an important milestone in Taiwan's fair trade with us.

Recently, we have just imported a batch of mantenin beans. Hurry up and have the freshest open-box text_

Kopepi Ketiara specially put "custom" information on the bean bag, including the bean batch number, weight, access port and so on, as well as our logo!

Even the inside of the sack was specially covered with a layer of moisture-proof cloth, which was very considerate--

Dark beans are firm and plump.

The beans were washed and tasted cleaner than half-washed or sun-dried, and less of the usual herbal flavor of mantelin.

Especially take it out and look carefully--

Roaster's classroom: The strength of mantning coffee beans is not the aroma, but the special feature is its thick taste, so it is usually processed with deeper roasting to present its thickness and aroma.

In addition, our Mantenin does not emphasize the wild and intense deep roast taste, breaking the general impression of Mantenin's charred and bitter taste, but allows the sweet taste of caramel to be retained, and the layers are also more diverse.

Baked mantinin.

The beans baked by the bean baker are ready to be tasted!

Wow--freshly ground beans smell good--

Compared to light-baked Ethiopia, it really has a thick feeling in the mouth. When swallowed, there will be a sweet taste slowly emerging.

After cooling slightly, smell again. The light fruity smell is more obvious. What fruit is it? The bean baker said it was closer to plums and mulberries! Coffee has a different feel depending on the temperature.

I'm going to try the latest mantinin! (Look at the beans)

Coffee Tip 1: What is taste?

It refers to the feel of food in the mouth. Words to describe taste include dense, loose, thick, crispy, juicy, etc.

If black tea and green tea are used to describe it, green tea is relatively light and refreshing, and black tea is relatively mellow.

Coffee Tip #2: Why is black coffee sweet?

After the coffee beans are roasted, the sugar inside will caramelize at about 170--200℃, and the process will produce the aroma of fire roasting, caramel, and other aromatic substances. However, if it is over-roasted, it will cause carbonization and taste bitter, but it will not taste the original taste of coffee.

We, Mount Carmel, Mantenin.

Flavor and taste: rich, firm aroma, lingering finish
