Some people say that mantinin coffee is coffee beans produced in Sumatra? We don't have this simple definition, but for coffee lovers, mantinin coffee refers to Sumatra Arabica coffee processed by wet stripping, a special wet stripping process.(wet-hulled), with shell beans after preliminary washing, and then after one to two days of exposure, although the moisture content of raw beans is still 30%--50%, that is, first peel off the seed shell and then continue to dry, in order to shorten the operation time of green beans drying; about 2 days of drying time, can let the moisture content of coffee green beans to 12--13%.
Please note this special wet stripping division (wet-hulled), it is easy to make raw beans moldy, so commercial grade of mantelin is very not recommended for everyone to eat, before trying to use more economical mantelin G1 as an entry product, although marked as Grade1, according to other countries 'raw bean standards is the highest grade, but for Indonesia, mantelin G1 bad bean rate is still quite high (close to 10%), resulting in high cost of picking beans, we still decided to choose high grade gold mantelin, Or better yet, emerald mantelin for our product.
Below is a diagram of a defective Mantelin G1 bean. It is easy to have a whole moldy defective bean that is different from other defective coffee beans.

Lake Tawa is located in the Gayo Mountains in the north of Aceh Province in Sumatra; across Indonesia on both sides of the equator, coffee lovers must know that Aceh produces the best mantenin, which is rich in nutrients due to the humid tropical rain forest climate and fertile volcanic loam; however, due to its remote location and inconvenient transportation, coffee cultivation did not begin until 1924, mostly using traditional shade and organic cultivation without pesticides. The Mantenin beans produced in Tawa Lake are green and have been hand-selected three times in the original place. The beans are large (19 + mesh) and clean and tidy, like finely carved gems.
