The Biloa Cooperative, located in the Gedeo district of Yegashefi, Ethiopia, produces beans that are both washed and solarized. The production area is located on the hillside at an altitude of 1,800 to 2,100 meters. The soil is red brown loam. The harvest period is November to February of the following year. Cooperatives have organic and fair trade certification.

Coffee is grown in the Yegarshefi region surrounded by Sidama and is known for its mild acidity, rich taste, and distinctive floral and spicy flavors. This batch of green beans is produced by farmers on 0.25 - 1.5 hectares of land under the care of an elaborate horticultural production system, with coffee trees provided shade by farmers 'homes, banana trees and nitrogen-fixing plants planted together in the courtyard, providing different elements needed for coffee growth. To this day, despite advances in agricultural technology, yekashefi farmers still care for their coffee trees in the traditional way of "hand planting and organic fertilizer feeding."
