A famous coffee exporter in East Africa, the excellent fruit aroma and clean acidity are amazing and worth tasting.
Thiriku Estate in Kenya, which is located in East Africa, is one of the major coffee producing countries. More than 6 million people in the country are engaged in the coffee industry, mostly in the form of a combination of small farmers and cooperatives. Most coffee trees in Kenya are planted at an altitude of 1400 meters to 2000 meters above sea level. Nyeri is close to the mountains of Mount Kenya. It is also an important boutique coffee producing area, with an average elevation of more than 1500 meters. A lot of good coffee is also produced in this region. With fertile red soil, excellent ecological environment and good coffee processing technology, Nyeri has become an important coffee town in central Kenya.
Founded in 2000, Thiriku is made up of six different villages and currently has about 1900 members. The water washing station is located at a position of nearly 1900 meters, and the higher and lower temperature positions can make the washed coffee beans have longer fermentation time and drying time, so the coffee beans with good flavor can be formed.
CUPPING NOTES: lively and bright sweet and sour berries. Citrus, green apple, grape, green plum, tea, caramel, chocolate, greasy, persistent finish with a hint of pine lilac.
