Oreti Estate AA

With its fertile red volcanic soil, Oreti Manor is an ideal estate for growing high-quality coffee. The ripe coffee cherries are harvested by hand, peeled and fleshed with water, then leavened overnight, then washed, soaked, surface dried, scaffolded and sun-dried, stored in a raw bean warehouse and bagged before export.

In flavor, the dry fragrance has the sweetness of sugarcane and the scent of flowers. When you smell the latter part, the fruit aroma is full of fruit-it is obvious on the wet fragrance of almonds, caramel and chocolate.

In terms of sipping and tasting, as far as Kenyan acid is concerned, I think it is full of softness and grape aroma, sweet but not exciting in sweetness, and a touch of fresh tomato, which makes me feel especially sweet for a long time.

Elevation: 1535m--1700m

David Harries, the owner of the garden, is the fourth generation of British immigrants since 1904. His family has operated a coffee farm in Thika since 1926, and his father and son also own two farms, Chania and Oreti.
