Since 2016, the excellent Coffee Alliance ACE has changed the rules of the excellent Cup competition CoE. In order to improve the quality of the coffee, the minimum score for the final winner has been raised from 85 points to 86 points, but the coffee with nearly 86 points is still very high quality. Therefore, the national (preliminary) winning award is added, that is, the preliminary contest (domestic evaluation score) gets more than 85 points, but the final (international evaluation) score of 84muri 85.9 points is listed as the preliminary contest winner National Winner, the beautiful estate of Guatemala Finca La Hermosa and the Grand Portley Manor Grande Potrero of Honduras are very valuable preliminary competition winners.

Beautiful Manor Finca La Hermosa is located in Acatenango, the south fruit producing area of Akate. it was originally part of the hill manor Finca La Colina. The owner of the hill manor was Mateo Mateo Mejia Mazariegos, whose coffee was well received. In 1950, Mateo passed the San Mateo manor San Mateo to his son Jose Jose Maria Mejia Monzon, and seven years later Jose passed it to his son Carlos Carlos Mejia. In 2002, the San Mateo estate was divided into four small estates to be run by the four Carlos brothers. In 2010, 26-year-old Max Max Fernando Peres Rios acquired four small estates and merged them into Beautiful Manor Finca La Hermosa. Max is the third generation of Vivette Nanguo Huehuetenango coffee family. Max is very enthusiastic about coffee production. He takes care of everything from raising seedlings, planting new varieties, harvesting to wet treatment, sun drying, and even shelling, grading, packaging and shipping. Max is familiar with every batch of coffee produced by the manor. It also ensures the high quality of coffee. The manor covers an area of about 180ha, with an elevation of 1800Murray 2100m. The harvest season is from December to April of the next year, with an annual output of about 330bags. The cultivated varieties are Typica, Bourbon, Caturra, Pache and Geisha. After 4 months of low temperature storage in Oshe, the cup test score is as high as 89 points. Max told the boss: if the delivery date of the excellent Cup is one month later, I am sure it will be at the top of the list! What you said is true!

Spindle flavor: floral aroma, chocolate, good cleanliness, pleasant aftertaste, rich sugar sweetness, high-grade hazelnut chocolate, lively cranberries!

The origin of the Ravega project batch Plan de la Vega (2016)-Argueta Herrera, Erwin Humberto:

In 1953, Maria Mar í a Figueroa de Argueta acquired a piece of land in Chiantla, Qiantra City, and began to plant Typica, Bourbon and Maragogipe coffee trees, which was managed by her son Irwin Erwin Modesto Figueroa in 1977. Irwin expanded the planting area and added coffee varieties Caturra, Pache verde and Pache rojo. In 2005, the administrative district was rezoned, and this coffee garden was changed to belong to the town of hope, La Esperanza. In 2005, the district established Union Cantinil (Contini Cooperative Union). The land is still cultivated by the Agita family but belongs to the joint property rights of the trade union. Erwin Humberto (Irving Humberto) of the third generation of the family decided to cooperate with the trade union to join the high-quality coffee planting project and named the La Vega Project Plan de la Vega. The best Laviga batches were selected from the family-grown coffee to participate in the national competition. In the internal primaries of the Contini trade union, this group of Humberto attracted union cadres with excellent quality and outstanding flavor. People encouraged Lavega to keep up his efforts and deal with the Lavega batch properly. Finally, he won the honor of international victory in the 2016 Excellence Cup and won the 14th place. In the Osher team Cup test, Lavega attracted everyone's attention and gave a high rating and a cup test score of more than 89 points. This batch was won exclusively by Osher!

This batch of Grand Portley Manor Grande Potrero in Honduras is the winning batch in the preliminary round, and the coffee variety is Caturra. The owner of the Great Portley Manor El Potrero Grande is Jesus Humberto Mata (Jesus Humberto Mata). Mata's estate is located in Las Crucitas, Belen Gualcho, Ocotepeque province. The estate is about 1600-1700 meters above sea level. Matako said that he devoted his whole life to coffee. Influenced by his grandfather, he was proud of producing small batches of high-quality coffee and got excellent results in the Outstanding Cup competition. He closely monitors every link of the production process, and is also very concerned about the sustainability of the environment, using methods such as planting shade trees and hay to cover the soil, so that the soil can be kept healthy and the water source is abundant and clean every year. During the harvest season, Mata employs 40 local aborigines to help harvest coffee cherries, grading and post-processing, peeling, washing and fermentation on the same day, and drying at low temperature using a solar drying system. This solar drying system is a new drying method in Central America, with several layers of elevated African scaffolding in the greenhouse to make the air circulation more smoothly. Compared with placing on cement floor, it reduces the risk of overfermentation and saves space and sun time. When this batch of coffee was delivered, it had already revealed its wonderful features, but it was a pity that this year's Hongguo experts, although ranked among the winners in the preliminary round, could not be among the international winners. Its profound flavor and ultra-long-lasting lime chocolate also made Osher decide to bid back to Taiwan. Big Portley's winning batch has a bright lime juice, and the caramel sweet and long-lasting dark chocolate flavor makes the overall flavor quite charming. Looking for high-end beans with a thick and varied taste! The main axis flavors are: lime, citrus, caramel sweet, manor chocolate, red grapefruit, plum, kiwi fruit, vanilla plant, bright acidity, clean, round taste

In recent years, the quality and flavor of Honduras tends to surpass that of neighboring Guatemala! Can't you see that the 2016 Acer Champion is priced at more than $150 a pound! Most of the international bidders for the Zhuoyue Cup are economical coffee experts, and only the outstanding quality is enough to attract them to spend a lot of money to grab the bid. The performance of the Outstanding Cup in Honduras confirms that her excellent quality performance in recent years is by no means a flash in the pan!

The Fairview Manor Bella Vista (2016) is run by Alex Rome (Alex Ramon Ponce Rodriguez) and comes from the famous La Paz. In Mara District, Alex is less than 35 years old, and his knowledge of coffee is completely inherited from his father. From an early age, Alex was warned that he could only pick ripe fruit and not to be greedy. After peeling the pectin, his father taught him how to judge the degree of fermentation and the timing of completion. He learned more details in the sun room, and it was not until he had his own beautiful manor that he knew that the expertise inherited from his father was so precious and practical. Now he also leads his wife and lovely little daughter in the manor to learn how to become a good coffee farmer!
