Fazenda Capim Branco has been a member of the Andrade family since 1901 and is one of the oldest specialty coffee farms in Brazil. It is located in Cerrado Mineiro in the northern state of Minas Gerais, near Carmo de Paranaiba in Bahia state. This is the first coffee producing region in Brazil to win the title of origin, similar to the famous wine region.
